Skate Great Announces 2010 Basic Skills Competition
Skate Great will host it's annual Basic Skills Competition at the Hamburg Town Arena on Saturday, April 3rd. This is a wonderful way for beginning skaters and learn to skate students to test their skills in a fun and supportive enviornment. And, best of all every skater goes home a winner!

New Basic Skills Competition Preparation Program
Skate Great is introducing a new Basic Skills Competition Preparpation Program this year. This five week program is designed to help prepare skaters and their parents for their first compeition! Included in the program are 30 minutes of small group instruction, parent information class, practice ice time, and the Skate Great Basic Skills Competition entry fee!
Classes will be held at Holiday Rinks, Leisure Twin Rinks, and the Hamburg Town Arena. The program begins the first week of March (the last week of Feb. in Hamburg). Click here for more information and the registration form.
2010 Rising Stars on Ice Show
Skate Great is inviting all Learn to Skate and Jump, Spin, & Spiral students to join the cast of the 2010 Rising Stars on Ice show. This year's show will take place on Saturday, April 17th a 6 p.m. at Holiday Twin Rinks in Cheektowaga. Whatever your age or ability there is a spot for you in the show. It's a lot of fun and a great way to show off your skating skills to your friends and family. For more information, click here.
