Skate Great Basic Skills Competition Announced
Skate Great's annual Basic Skills Competition will be held at the Hamburg Town Arena on Saturday, April 3rd.
All beginning skaters and learn to skate students are encouraged to compete. This is a wonderful way to test your skills in a fun and supportive environment. And best of all, every skater goes home a winner! Click here for more information on the competition.
This year we're introducing a new Basic Skills Preparation Program for skaters and their parents. This five week program will ensure that you'll be prepared and know what to expect at your first competition. The course fee includes the entry fee for Skate Great's Basic Skill competition. Casting Call for the 2010 Rising Stars on Ice Show
Skate Great is inviting al Learn to Skate and Jump, Spin, & Spiral students to join the cast of the 2010 RisingStars on Ice show. This year's show will be held on Saturday, April 17th at 6 p.m. at Holiday Twin Rinks in Cheektowaga. Whatever your age or ability, there is a spot for you in the show. It's a lot of fun and a great opportunity to show off your skating skills to your friends and family. For more information, click here.

We've posted spring program registration information and calendars. Classes begin the week of March 29. It's not too early to register!
Register Now for the Early Spring Session!
It's not too early to register for Skate Great's early spring session, which starts the week of February 1st. Skate Great is offering its award--winning learn to skate programs at Leisure Rinks in Orchard Park, Holiday Twin Rinks in Cheektowaga, and the Hamburg Town Arena. 
Skaters who already know the basics will be interested in one of our many advanced programs like Jump, Spin, and Spiral, Intro to Dance, Intro to Synchro, or Powerskating. We even have programs geared specifically to Adults.
